If you're old and slow like me, then that Trump Gaza video goes too quick to absorb its full insanity.
So I took a few screenshots for you to digest at leisure.
This is something genuinely posted by *the President of The United States Of America*.
To be led by a liar
is to ask to be told lies.
To be led by a tyrant
is to sell yourself
and those you love
into slavery.
From Earthseed: The Books of the Living (Parable of the Talents- Octavia E. Butler)
Choose your leaders
with wisdom and forethought.
To be led by a coward
is to be controlled
by all that the coward fears.
To be led by a fool
is to be led
by the opportunists
who control the fool.
To be led by a thief
is to offer us
your most precious treasures
to be stolen…
@UKLabour We are British citizens who have family abroad. We are wives, husbands & children with family members barred from joining us because of extortionate visa fees. Most of us are not rich, many of us are now debt-ridden. Stop exploiting British families!
Really worrying that the Home Office is thinking of yet again increasing the visa fees and the health surcharge
As we said last week with @MigrantVoiceUK and many others... people shouldn't be treated as cash machines.
We need #ActionOnVisas

@MigrantVoiceUK If this is happening to Americans married to Brits, can you imagine how Brits married to people from less respected countries are being treated???The whole system related to family reunification needs to be burned & rebuilt from scratch, with humanity at it’s core. @UKLabour
This long read in @guardian is beautifully written and made me cry more than once (where is the equivalent in the US press?) Not much more I can say except to take some time to read about those who risk their lives to shine light into the darkness. Thank you Nesrine.
My longread on ‘The Mountain’ - Palestinian journalist Wael Al Dahdouh, and the killings of Palestinian journalists and their families in Gaza.

@SipidMind@Bryan_hmm@BBCNews did you not do due diligence with *that* article? Since it was published, that poor lady on disabilities has been crucified here, but not as much as Yasmin. Also somebody posted pics of the pensioner interviewed. It’s like a rage bait piece.
@Habibakatsha Gambia has amazing beaches but outside of that it’s quite underdeveloped sadly IMO. I felt angry for the people that so much is geared to (*literally*) pleasuring tourists & not much else. Senegal & Côte D’Ivoire are my recommends (brush up on high school french!)
@3rtymusic I was just thinking this today! Nearly Wednesday, then Friday, then Sunday and before I know it, it’ll be 3rd January, boom! Life is drifting 😩
@theashrb The comments were miserable. Just because it’s possible to exist on 21k doesn’t mean that everyone wants that for themselves. Life can surely be better than just scraping by & lambasting those who want a bit more for themselves (not millionaires but not miserly either).
