Not sure it matters what the shooter's political ideology is. What's more relevant/actionable is the fact that his rage was widely understood by Americans, who by the way just reelected Trump. Hard to convince voters of the stakes of preserving a system that immiserated them.
The shooter's politics are irrelevant to everyone other than elites in both parties who want to convince their respective bases to not care about our broken healthcare system because it's "the other guy's" issue.
As expected the media are refusing to publish the manifesto although somehow selectively quoting from it is allowed. If you have access to the manifesto, text me via signal at 202-510-1268
@rolandsmartin@krystalball@BernieSanders 1) that’s not true
2) even assuming it were true, if Clyburn, Biden, the rest of the Dem establishment worked together to help Bernie defeat Trump… that wouldn’t have improved his support at all?
Not just Senator Sanders, the Democratic establishment declared war on the left starting with OH-11 and then ousted @coribush & @JamaalBowmanNY this summer, smearing us as antisemitic for seeing Palestinians as human beings, but the motivation was because we stood up to corporations.
We're still doing this, huh?
"Oh, you say you're struggling financially? Well, maybe stop consuming right-wing media and take a look at this here CPI reading!!"
@kathy25932350@UAW Economies don’t buy cars, people do—when their wages are high enough that they feel they can afford to.
Those workers that produce the cars should be able to afford the products of their labor. Even literal nazi Henry Ford understood that.
Before it gets flushed down the memory hole: this was in the NYT a couple of weeks before the election, and it wasn't meant to be an indictment—their sources were bragging about how they'd induced Harris (far from subtly) to move well to the right of Biden on economic policy. 1/
@glnott@DylanByers No it’s not. Not if there’s high turnout. If nearly every registered voter votes, an attempt to steal someone’s vote would be caught.
This almost entirely theoretical threat only exists when elections have low turnout.
the Democrat Senate candidates are all behind in the swing states and their Republican opponents are all like, the crypto king or the biggest hedge fund manager on earth or a luxury car salesman. we’re all going to die
