Ils ont découvert comment l’expertise française, le savoir-faire indien et une collaboration dévouée façonnent le premier temple hindou traditionnel de France. 🇫🇷🇮🇳🇬🇧

We were honoured to welcome Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla to Neasden Temple, where they met those involved in delivering the @BAPS Swaminarayan Hindu Mandir in Bussy-Saint-Georges.

We were delighted to join members of the wider British Hindu community for the ‘Diwali in London’ celebrations hosted by the @MayorofLondon @SadiqKhan at Trafalgar Square.

The children of @BAPS #NeasdenTemple delivered Vedic prayers invoking the timeless Hindu wisdom of peace, harmony, and goodness. Volunteers also introduced the upcoming @BAPSParis Hindu Mandir in France.

We are deeply saddened by the terrorist attack at the Heaton Park Synagogue in Manchester.

Our heartfelt prayers and condolences are with the victims, their families, and the Jewish community.

May peace, understanding, and compassion continue to strengthen the bonds that unite us.

It is absolutely outrageous to see Tesco stocking Isla Delice Khushii Chocolate Chai Cakes packaged and promoted as a Diwali sweet, despite these products containing beef gelatine. For Hindus beef consumption is strictly forbidden. Selling food with beef during Diwali, a festival of light, devotion, and purity is not just insensitive, it is a profound insult to Hindu religious values and cultural traditions.

Tesco and Isla Delice must answer for this shocking disregard. Labelling a product containing beef as a Diwali offering shows complete disrespect for Hindu faith and dietary practices. This needs urgent correction, public accountability, and immediate removal from shelves. The community deserves a formal apology.

We demand:
- Immediate recall of these offensive products.
- A formal apology to the Hindu community.
- Implementation of strict internal checks to prevent such cultural disrespect again.

Furthermore, we urge Tesco not to stock Isla Delice products due to their past recalls involving 3 products contaminated with harmful bacteria. Consumer safety and respect for cultural diversity must come first.

🪷 Hanumanji, one of the foremost devotees of Shri Rama, was born on Chaitra Sud 15. Anjana, the wife of Kesari, King of the Monkeys, gave birth to Hanumanji due to the grace of Shiva and Vayu Dev.

Devotees will be able to perform pujan of Hanumanji at the Mandir on Saturday.
