Working to promote and develop the 65 bus service Joining up & involving the local communities along the route to ensure the bus is well-used and appreciated.
@MonChamber@PaulMatthews67 Going to Monmouth by bus reduces the numbers of vehicles on the road, helps to reduce congestion & eases the pressure on car parking - win, win, win! Perhaps you could work with @NewportBus to incentivise green travel & support local businesses?
From 1st April 2024, the 65 bus service will be operated by @NewportBus with additional services at the beginning & end of the day operated by @MonmouthshireCC The new timetable can be found here - https://t.co/G4qSWBxwvc
@BarclayBusUsers@BusUsersUK We're very pleased to be working closely with @NewportBus & @MonmouthshireCC during this time of transition and looking ahead to the future. We have our first face-to-face meeting with them tomorrow to review the changes & consider our shared aspirations as we move forward
Worrying reports of the 1715 service from Chepstow being cancelled again at short notice, leaving passengers, inc schoolchildren, stranded. How are users supposed to get home at the end of the day? Lack of reliability -> loss of confidence @MonmouthshireCC@paulmatthews67
Have you thought about using a bus to do a walk? There are lots of circular walks along the route of our bus.But you can also arrange linear walks by using both the 65 & the 69 buses. Both buses welcome dogs & have friendly & helpful drivers. Why don’t you try it? @anslowcoaches
September is #CatchTheBusMonth
Hop on board our new electric bus from Chepstow to Monmouth. Travel along one of the most picturesque routes with views to the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) & Black Mountains.
It’s good for you & good for the planet 🌎
