A grant provided by Friends of Jones allowed students to attend the North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad (NACLO) with teachers Mr. Gonzalez-Díaz and Mr. Wallenberg. The contest challenges students to solve linguistic puzzles. #naclo

@JonesCollegeHS is proud to announce that we swept the top two spots at the Chicago Regional of the IIT Bridge Competition this evening. Freshman Ethan Tam took the top spot. Junior Joshua Koch took second. Both will be headed to the International competition next month.
Congrats to the boys swim team for their runner up finish at the city championships. The team scored a record 342 points, placing a close 2nd to Whitney. Jaden Olson, Rene Maldonado were both event winners and Jaden Olson broke two city records (100 butterfly & 100 backstroke).

Last night, JP Boys Swimming won against @wyhs for the first time and it moves us to 3-0 in league competitions and overall first place. Further, junior Jaden Olson broke the school record in the 200 IM, and freshman Auguste Chase won the diving. Final score 98-88. @JPSwimandDive
