REMEMBERING RJ PETERSON. Aug 11, '21. The man who, together with his wife Diane, saved S.S. Keewatin from the scrappers in 1967 died a year ago today. Entrepreneur, historian and visionary, RJ bought KEEWATIN and cared for her for 45 yrs. before sending her back to Port McNicoll.

Rare Gray Dort Automobile Display: Sat. Sep. 14, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM, at S.S. Keewatin. Recognized as Canada’s first domestically built automobile, more than 26,000 Gray Dort were manufactured in Chatham between 1915 and 1925. Today only 40 are known to survive. Talk with owners.
On Sunday September 8 we will be remembering the contribution of Seamen of the Merchant Navy in both World Wars in a special observance at 11:00 AM. All are welcome to attend. For this reason tours will commence at 12:00 PM (NOON) on that day rather than our usual 10:00 AM start.
