@McDonaldGurura The prices in Zim is shocking! A 1kg you hurt costs US$17 in Zim and £1.25 at Tesco. The issue is both Govt and private sector. Govt need to create a stable macroeconomic environment and they have failed.
@DrStephenChan Great article Prof Chan. Always enjoy reading your work on Zimbabwe. You highlight the issues but offer little by way of solutions. What is the way forward for Zim?
@InfoMinZW You can’t stabilise prices by printing more money. Seriously? Increasing money supply without production is inflationary. You will only make matters worse.
@matigary Not sure who you are but it’s sad that you create more chaos in a country that’s looking for answers. Be respectful of the power that is vested in you.
I’m truly saddened by what’s going on in #Zimbabwe right now. People have suffered for far too long. @edmnangagwa@MthuliNcube you continue to let your people down. Another false dawn.
4. @edmnangagwa needs to act urgently and decisively to restore confidence. He has surrounded himself by yes men. Lead from the front and with your heart.
3. #zimbabwe suffers from a lack of confidence. The people have lost faith in govt. Hope has led to despair. Govt has run out of ideas. #zim is rapidly becoming a failed state.
2. The only country in the world to achieve this record. Once again the people suffer due to gross economic mismanagement. What are the reasons for failure and what actions should be taken.
Love in of itself is not enough. Compassion is far greater than we imagine. We can love but we can’t always be compassionate. Compassion comes with the expansion of love.
