In July of this year, Chinese contractors visited the Sensei Institute in Nakuru.

They promised to take eight brilliant, qualified young Kenyans to China for a one-month advanced skills training course, after which they would return home to work as construction foremen.

On 27th August 2026, these eight children boarded a flight to China, accompanied by instructors from the institute.

But what was supposed to be a life-changing opportunity has turned into a terrifying nightmare.

Rev. Elias’s granddaughter, Dorcus Nasimiyu Masinde (a trained Plant Operator and daughter to Rev. Nancy Sialo), managed to send a chilling WhatsApp message from Guangzhou before her phone went completely offline.

This was her heartbreaking message:

"Hello grandpa,,, they've separated us to different places, we don't know where they took the other four and we've been warned not to use our phones. My colleagues and I are planning to get a chance and escape i don't if it's a good idea bt it's for our own safety."

Most horrifyingly, Dorcus revealed that they overheard one of the Chinese handlers saying that "all their kidneys are in good condition," immediately after which the group was broken up and separated.

The eight vulnerable Kenyan youths trapped in this terrifying situation are:

So your question is not a sin. It is a human question.” She nodded slowly. I continued, “Many people who do not pray chase what can be seen. Money. Comfort. Influence. Pleasure. These things often come quickly. And the world, especially social media, shows only the success, never the cost. Scripture warns us, ‘Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth’ (Matthew 6:19), because what comes fast can also disappear fast.” She said quietly, “But Father, prayer feels slow.” I replied, “Because prayer is not designed to impress people. It is designed to form souls. Saint Paul explains it clearly when he says, ‘Suffering produces endurance, endurance produces character, and character produces hope’ (Romans 5:3–4). Those who pray are often being shaped, not showcased.” She paused, then asked, “So why does God allow the pain?”
I answered, “Because love disciplines. Scripture says, ‘The Lord disciplines the one He loves’ (Hebrews 12:6). And Jesus Himself said, ‘Every branch that bears fruit my Father prunes, so that it may bear more fruit’ (John 15:2). Pruning feels like loss, but it is preparation for fruitfulness.”Her eyes softened. She said, “Sometimes I feel delayed.” I smiled gently and said, “Delay is not denial. The prophet reminds us, ‘Though the vision tarry, wait for it’ (Habakkuk 2:3). God is not slow. He is careful. Some blessings arrive only when the heart is strong enough to carry them.” She asked again, “So prayer is not a guarantee of an easy life?”
I said, “No, Miss Nkechi. Prayer is not a transaction. It is a relationship. Even Jesus prayed, ‘Not my will, but yours be done’ (Luke 22:42). Obedience did not remove the Cross, but it led to resurrection.” She was silent for a moment. I added, “And remember this. Not every win is a blessing. Scripture warns us, ‘There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death’ (Proverbs 14:12). Some people receive quickly because nothing deep is being formed. Others wait because God is building something that will last.” She looked at me and asked softly, “Father, am I behind in life?” I looked at her and said, “No, Miss Nkechi. The Word of God says, ‘Those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength’ (Isaiah 40:31). You are not behind. You are being prepared.”

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has named the late Cyrus Jirongo as the whistleblower who revealed irregularities in East Africa's Government-to-Government (G-to-G) oil importation deal. Museveni stated that Jirongo, a former minister under President Moi, informed him about these backdoor oil dealings in 2019. "It was a Kenyan " senator" called Jirongo who told me this around 2019.
