@ringingmyb3ll "God, how old are you? You sound like my grandfather."
- Pocket slid away from the windowsill and sat on the edge of the bed.
"What do you usually uh, do around here for fun?"
@ringingmyb3ll - Pocket winced slightly and crossed their arms, not upset at the question but at the memory.
"Mina was just after my name. I dodged a bullet.. well no I took a bullet but I dodged the marriage."
"If I marry someone I want it to be for love y'know?"
@ringingmyb3ll - The flame reached it's end, Pocket pushed the butt onto the tray and coughed slightly.
"You're practically married to The Baroness herself then. I couldn't imagine staying in one place that long."
@ringingmyb3ll "I guess that makes sense."
- The tip of pockets cigarette was already long with ash. They flicked it casually into the tray.
"Is there a Mrs. Doorman? I have been curious."
@ringingmyb3ll - Pocket stood up and leaned on the windowsill to give doorman a seat.
"Didn't take you for a smoker, here."
- They flipped open their lighter casually and held it out.
@ringingmyb3ll "Things change, Doorman."
- They sighed softly.
"Y'know, you havent aged like, at all. I have more wrinkles than you and im only 23. What happened?"
@ringingmyb3ll - Pocket shifted over, pulling one of the chairs towards the window. They cracked it open and moved the ashtray on top of the window sill.
"How have things been? Don't think weve talked since I was a kid. I am sure things have changed around here.."
