One developer. Eight months. 1,600 files. The honest inventory of FrogyBit iOS Beta 4.3.0 β what ships today, what's beta, and what isn't finished. https://t.co/FqcwZuGIah
A word on promotion offers.
My replies and DMs fill up daily with the same message: "let's collab", "let's connect", "wanna push your project". Almost none of these accounts have opened the app. They don't know what FrogyBit does, they haven't used it, and they don't intend to. The offer isn't about us β it's a template, sent to everyone.
So let me be clear, once, so nobody has to ask again:
We don't pay for promotion. Ever.
Not because of budget discipline, though there isn't a budget. Because the thing being sold isn't real. A promo package for $10 or $50 buys engagement that was itself bought β bots liking bots, in a loop that ends at zero actual humans. You get a number and nothing behind it.
And there's a simpler reason: X already sells targeting. If I want reach, I can buy it directly and aim it at the exact people who might care. I don't need a middleman charging me for an audience that doesn't exist.
What actually moves a project is boring and free. Someone installs the app. Uses it. Forms a real opinion. Then says so publicly, because they want to β not because they were paid to. One post like that is worth more than every promo package I've been offered combined, and it costs nothing.
So if you believe in what we're building: sign up, use it, and talk about it. That's the whole ask. The door is open and the beta is free.
If your message is a template β it will be ignored. Nothing personal. There just isn't a version of this where it works.
Spotify knows what you listened to at 3am. Your bank knows what you bought. Your phone knows where you were.
Crypto's actual promise was never the money. It was that someone finally built systems where the answer to "who has my data" is nobody.
Most of the industry forgot that about four years ago.
@solana Raydium: I'm all in on Solana
Solana: I'm all in on Solana
FrogyBit: I'm all in on Solana and I put an entire social network on it
Feed. Wallet. DEX. Encrypted chats. Music. One app, one chain.
@MattShiller_ Exactly. And by that measure I'd rather not tell you the number.
123 signed up. Actually posting? A fraction of that. Which is the real problem β signups I can get, conversations I can't manufacture.
That's the part I'm working on now.
120 people in the beta. Thatβs not a community yet. Thatβs a room. FrogyBit only works if people actually post, reply, drop tokens, talk in chats β not if they create an account and disappear. Iβm looking for the ones who want to bring this to life. Not shills. Not lurkers. People who use it. iOS TestFlight is free. Link in bio. Sign up, post something, stay. πΈ
Most crypto apps give you an account that dies with the app. This week FrogyBit became a login. Same account, second product. Not another token site β a car marketplace. If identity only works inside crypto, it isnβt identity. 120 testers. Free iOS beta.
Nine months ago this was a folder on my laptop.
Today people I did not expect are looking at it. Not naming anyone β nothing to name yet.
Just noting it, quietly, for future me.
Post about crypto on a normal platform and you pay for it. Reach drops, links get buried, ads get rejected, accounts get limited. Everyone's just accepted that.
FrogyBit doesn't punish you for the subject. It's the whole point of the app.
No shadow-penalty for saying the word Solana. No farming loops, so nothing for bots to come for. Your feed, your language, your keys.
Still small. Still building. But that's the direction.
Exactly. And that's the part people miss β this is the marketing.
Every product that plugs into FrogyBit Login is another place we exist. Cars today, something else next. Not ads, not boosts β presence, in places a crypto app has no business being.
On the numbers: 119 users isn't a lot. I know. We're not finished either β we're at the start.
But nine months, one person, 1,800+ files. For that, I'll take it. Proud of it, honestly, whatever anyone says.
And I'm more hyped about what's next than anything already shipped.
FrogyBit is becoming a login.
Quiet milestone this week, and probably the most important thing I've shipped since the wallet.
Carvexia β an AI-driven marketplace for cars, parts and workshops across Europe β is coming into FrogyBit. Its listings will be browsable inside the app, and in the next few days it gets its own sign-in powered by your FrogyBit account.
Both are Ruznic Group projects. That's not a disclaimer, it's the point: we're proving our own identity layer on ourselves before anyone else builds on it. You don't hand a login to an outside company you've never tested.
Why this matters more than a feature announcement:
Every crypto app is an island. You make an account, it works in one place, and it dies with the app. FrogyBit already speaks OAuth 2.1 with a proper consent screen and connected-app management. Carvexia is the first real thing plugged into it β and it's cars, not another token app, which is exactly the test I wanted. If identity only works within crypto, it isn't identity. It's a login for a niche.
The same infrastructure already lets AI agents use FrogyBit through our public MCP server. One account, several products, readable by people and machines. That's the direction.
And yes, cars in a crypto app is strange.
It's supposed to be. Nobody's portfolio is only crypto β we already track stocks, exchanges and precious metals next to Solana tokens for the same reason. A marketplace is the next honest step. Browse a listing, discuss it in the feed, swap a token, all in one session, without a single tab.
Nine months. One developer. 119 people in the beta.

@liuxingeth Low market cap and big community are two things that cancel each other out.
If the community were big, the cap wouldn't be low. One of those numbers is being generously counted, and it's almost always the second one.
Every crypto community lives on platforms that don't care if the project survives. Find it on X, argue about it on Telegram, chart it somewhere else, hold it in a wallet from a fifth company.
FrogyBit is one place. Feed, wallet, DEX, encrypted chats β your community and the thing it's about, together.

Nine months building a social app, and I still can't tell you the single feature that makes people stay.
I know the ones that make them leave: empty feed, slow load, nothing new since yesterday.
So I've been building against the second list. Turns out that's most of the work.
Crypto twitter is basically English-only and everyone just accepted that.
FrogyBit runs in 15 languages β and you can set a separate language for posts, so the feed gets translated into yours automatically. Somebody writes in Turkish, you read it in German.
Every day my replies fill with accounts that have never opened the app, selling engagement they bought themselves. Bots talking to bots.
That's exactly what FrogyBit is being built against.
No points, no farming loops, no leaderboard β because those are what bots come for. Referrals pay in Premium, not currency. Only genuinely new accounts count. Verification exists so you know who you're reading.
A small feed with real people beats a busy one with none.
To the people who backed FrogyBit early: thank you. You came in when there was nothing to see but a beta and a guy shipping daily.
The investor section is in the app under Settings β Investment β the tiers, the on-chain data, the memos. All of it readable before you decide anything.
Still early. Still building.
