@CNewhampshire@HighWireTalk Oh "it does not matter"? Nice completely unsupported conjecture. It matters because they've been studied for the better part of a century by real life doctors. Not idiots on the twitter.
@CNewhampshire@HighWireTalk But you don't get to decide those things. You have to live in the world that was built by science and medicine for generations before you. And in this world, a vaccine means what the WHO says it does. You can come up with all of your own words, but not that one.
@DrNormanF@HighWireTalk Bottom line is, you guys have no concept of scale. No idea what it would take to fake all of the bodies pouring out of ERs. You're the fool. There's my ad hominem! I'm out!
@DrNormanF@HighWireTalk I already explained this. Covid was more powerful than any typical case of seasonal influenza. There may have been some comorbidity and some percent of error, but look at the numbers relative to Covid. You're comparing flu cases in the 10,000s, to Covid cases in the millions.
@DrNormanF@HighWireTalk You know, only one of you dozens of people who engaged me on this, has avoided name calling and ad hominem attacks. That's what people with very little actual information do. They live in an echo chamber where everything is "obvious". You're not worth my time.
@DrNormanF@HighWireTalk I don't give a shit about the mask stuff. Media treated people like they were too dumb to work with the nuanced contractibility info, so they went overboard. My biggest beef by far was that they wouldn't state clearly how hard it was to pass outside. That was known early.
@DrNormanF@HighWireTalk 1 million people died of Covid in the US alone.
People died of the flu too. Not sure where you got that nugget about no flu deaths. There were less, because immunocompromised people who may have otherwise died of the flu, instead died of Covid.

@CNewhampshire@HighWireTalk This is so dumb. mRNA vaccines have existed since the 60s. And I know disputing that is a big favorite of idiots who blather on about "changing your DNA".

@HighWireTalk I can't keep up with all of these. That's the last time I bother trying to talk sense into anti-vaxers. Maybe take a break from the internet for a while guys.
@DrNormanF@HighWireTalk I predict, if this conversation keeps going in a somewhat sensible direction, that scale is going to become part of my next point. So consider scale if you're actually going to come with anything resembling a clear, concise, thought.
@DrNormanF@HighWireTalk No, we should acknowledge the people who had adverse reactions who were young, and the other people who did not experience those reactions. I only mention the old people, because they were more likely to die from Covid in the first place.
@cbra92 Bot implies I've got a bunch of accounts and I'm posting the same stuff from all of them. They're mostly older, but formerly attractive female Trump supporters. I'm a person, with one account, and I'm telling you you're a simple man with no real coherent thoughts.
@ShoutoutKG I don't think that's a great measure. Two different teams. You've got to compare skills. Cam's gotta grow out of those dart throws, but I bet he has a better 2026 than Mendoza, based on experience alone.
@DrNormanF@HighWireTalk To convince others of that, you have to accept that most people who got the vaccine had a normal experience. A lot of older folks who took it survived Covid as a result. I agree that some had adverse reactions, but you've got to accept all data, not just the stuff you prefer.
@cbra92 Simple Chris, your entire belief system is based on anecdotes. Think about that. It would be like seeing a bird take a shit on a car and concluding birds only shit on cars. Everything on your timeline is weak.
