Jaadugar's staff is plenty of interesting profiles alongside Abel and Yamada. First of all the directors/storyboarders of the single episodes, but also the KAs. This scene from the latest episode in particular is kinda good!

The Ribbon Hero wasn't much to write home about, but the henshin directed by Hiromatsu Shuu is really really great. It's almost a pity that it appear entirely only once in the film!

Kamina Botan #02 is solo-animated by Yuusuke Matsuo, Fugo for friends. His drawing style is simple yet elegant and I love all the effort in poses and torsions, that makes characters feel so lively. Impossible not to stop the episode every 10 sec and make a screenshot!

To fully grasp the story, it will take a few more episodes, but at least one thing can already be said: the clean character designs, Yoshiyuki Itou’s corrections (AD of the episode), and the brutally depicted violence in this prologue all suggest a strong sense of solidity.

After the first episode of Yomi no Tsugai, the initial feeling that lingered with me is a subtle nostalgia, difficult to put into words. It feels like going back to the earlier works of Andou, to Fullmetal Alchemist but with a new, modern freshness.
