This week on “I’m a professional… no, really I am!” I accidentally brushed my teeth with hand lotion and almost made a very expensive mistake trying to track our collared #wolves outside of their vhf signal transmission days

Things you can do while waiting for Meta to sort its situation:
1) Fill out a March Mammal Madness bracket: https://t.co/ZcUahWxYnX
2) Play animordle: https://t.co/h3KjhCD4mx
3) Play metazooa: https://t.co/OW8ltP5Y9j
POV: you have a day off from flying because there aren’t any new clusters, but you need to go into the office anyway. Luckily, your coworker has curated a cozy work space they allow you to use.
We are halfway through our winter 2024 #OnTheWhimsOfWolves!
This season features 2 wilderness areas, so thanks to the US Forest Service Wilderness team for helping us with land access!
We’re back #OnTheWhimsOfWolves! Both collared wolves are only accessible by helicopter and we live in a temperate rainforest soooooo I brought a lot of office tasks.
I searched 2 cougar gps clusters today. One where a male lion spent 2 nights, the other where both a male and female spent 2 nights. Between these 2 sites I found 9(!!) killed pigs, all <6 mo. Lions don't always hunt pigs, but they can clearly do some damage if they want to!
Please share! The Native Student Professional Development Program is now accepting student applications for funding to attend The
@wildlifesociety annual conference in Louisville, KY. Application deadline is Aug. 21. Additional details within flyer.
I’m missing #IMC13 where I was supposed to present some of the camera work I’ve been working on. BUT I uploaded my presentation virtually and it’s on demand. Check it out while I take care of this beast that we’re giving hospice care to.
