We are very blessed that Georgia leads a wonderful Youth Ministry team in the parish, guiding our young people in their formation as missionary disciples.
Georgia from @StLizRichmond: "The responsibility is on us to put interior preparation back in its primary place, and that has to start with evangelization."

A sermon I preached at Tyburn in commemoration of the English College Martyrs and calling for the prioritisation of evangelisation. https://t.co/puKckjst7T
@giulianoinpiedi Yes - Ralph Sherwin’s words when he swore to return to England despite all the dangers. He was hung, drawn and quartered at Tyburn for being a priest.
Today is the 440th anniversary of the martyrdom of Ralph Sherwin and his companions on this very spot. I prayed at the site & preached at the Martyrs’ Day Mass, a few yards away in Tyburn Convent, on the need to rediscover the priority of Evangelisation - potius hodie quam cras.

@jdflynn @KCScriptor @cordialcatholic I’m interested in your comment about the HS not permitting dioceses to subsume parishes in civil law. In the UK all dioceses do that and some abuses take place (eg spending parish money). Can you cite a HS’s document? Thanks.
Chaplaincy features in today’s Irish News. A great call to action by our friend Fr Stephen Langridge as we start this new academic year.
