A question for the #NUFC fans? If we had the choice of going for Harvey Elliot for £25-£30m or Nwaneri on loan with an option to buy for £45-£50m which would you go for? I’ve got no information or anything just interested in the general opinion?

@swinburne_mark Robert Lee & HBA. Rock solid midfielder with bags of leadership & the box of tricks to play off the Right that can provide goals & assists.

@JoelBlandSport Kessie would be the obvious option having spent the last couple of season playing under MJ. Goretzka is probably more of a goal threat than Kessie, but both are reportedly looking for massive wages so will probably rule them both out.

@Footylnsider I think this would be worth revisiting. New coach that has a rep for working with, improving & playing youngsters, which I think was an issue before. I do think he’ll be looking for another love in a couple of years though, so need to a big release clause in the contract.

@jimski_kings Yeah & if we can do a loan with an option/obligation we can kick the transfer fee down the line as well. Would love to see it, but I don’t think it’ll happen.

What would be the opinion of the fans if #NUFC signed Ethan Nwaneri on loan with an option/obligation to buy for £40-£50m next summer? Personally think it would be a great move, can play in the 10 or RW, technically excellent, played in the EPL, would have a point to prove to AFC

Go all in on this new philosophy. Give the players & coaching staff this season to settle & adapt, then watch this team fly next season.

Doubt it’ll happen, but that’s my dream.

Hoping we close the deal for Dedic this weekend & get a CM + RW sorted next week with one of them being available for the Liverpool game. If we’re being honest after the summer we’ve had we aren’t gonna be up to speed until September so let’s use the all the window to get better.

I would 100% having a serious look at what sort of deal AC Milan want for Tomori now they’ve told him he can leave. Would add experience & some much needed pace to our CB group. Anything less than £20m & id be making a move #NUFC

@DavyBaty81 I love him as a player, but can he play in a flat back 4? He’s great as a RWB, but we don’t play that system. I’m not saying he can’t I’ve just never seen him there. Would be a great signing if we could pull it off.

I wonder if the change in transfer policy, the change in manager & the fact that we appear to me willing sellers (if our terms are met) might tempt Said El Mana back to the table about a move to SJP? He’d be a excellent option on the RW & only 19. Talk of a move gone very quiet?

@toontong85 I would say that all the signings we have made have all come out of the blue, so maybe no links is a good thing? Screaming for a full back for either side as no proper link for link cover for either Hall or Tino.

@toontong85 Yeah I know it’s pie in the sky, but that would be the Dream signing for me. Probably end up with Kessie on a free, but if that free’s up funds to spend on a No.10 & a RW then might not be the worst thing.

I wonder if we go back in for Kees Smit before the end of the window, looks like some of the competition might have cooled off this window & we might be able to get a deal done. Jaissle know for trusting & improving young players might swing it for us?

In terms of what we ask out full backs to do, I think Joaquin Seys would be a perfect fit. Can can cover both sides, comfortable on the ball, good pace, played a lot of games despite being 21. Would probably be £25-£30m but I think he’d be worth it.

@nufcKobe Isn’t Godts going to PSG? Also he plays Left side doesn’t he? I thought we wanted to bring in a Right sided attacker? Excellent player just not sure with all the other positions we need to fill he’d be a priority the summer. We’ll have to wait & see I guess.

@NUFC___NEWS I think it’ll be £80-£85m + £10-£15m in add ons that are realistic. I think that gets the deal done. I’m not expecting him to be a NUFC player in September, let’s just hope we use the money wisely & we set ourselves up for the long term with quality addition throughout the side.
