@trygraptor I'm probably one of the few in my generation who was exposed to the TV series before the movies, so I've always preferred the first film over the others because it hews closest to the spirit of the original show

Pheew. Finished "Fool's Quest". Only one more book in the Realm of the Elderlings series to go. I'm not sure I'm ready to say goodbye yet. Ever since making a chance purchase of Liveship Traders in a used bookstore, discovering this series has been such a joy.
