#TBT to March 2020! FSDB transitioned to distance learning. Technology Services & Instructional Services worked together to get Ts trained on @MicrosoftTeams We worked together to troubleshoot, film Tech Tidbit videos, test out processes, and train over 300 people in one week.

#TBT to February 2020. Randi Mitchell provided PD on #OneNote. She taught participants how to create a Class Notebook, use the Math features, design and create in Class Notebook, and distribute pages. Participants learned how to incorporate @Flipgrid and @wakelet

#FunFactFriday Did you know October is White Cane Awareness month? The Blind Dept. hosted a White Cane Event with the elem & MS students. Staff & Ss wore matching shirts. The White Cane Event consisted of a Jeopardy like game with facts about White Canes and OM Skills.

#FSDBPineapplePDTidbit Teachers at FSDBK12 attended Slice of PD Saturday featuring Makey Makey. Teachers learned how to design their own controllers out of everyday objects, learn code through a Scratch game, and created circuits with conductive materials.

#FSDBPineapplePDTidbit Ts at @FSDBK12 attended #OrientationMobility. Jennifer Enache & Samantha Lang (Orientation and Mobility Specialists) guided participants through various task such as identifying tactile graphics, human guide skills, & white cane skills in the neighborhood
