Complaining about your team winning is crazy work. These games wouldn't have been dead rubber if Amorim was in charge because we wouldn't have qualified for UCL so early😂
People have an issue because they want me to validate their shit opinions.
Carrick has, unequivocally, stacked XPPG in dead rubbers towards the end of the season when the pressure was fully off, and the possession and shots per game metrics have still been poor to inconsistent.
Anyway, seasons over now. As I said with Amorim, the first 10-12 games of the season will determine what the level is.
My hot take is that United fans know nothing about what’s going on in that dressing room or tactics.
Cause no matter how much you h@te Dorgu on the wing, that guy scores and assists a bit too easily (for somebody that isn’t a winger). He keeps finding himself in those positions and keeps making the right decisions. He might not be your conventional winger but it’s hard for ANY coach to ignore this kind of contribution.
Believe it or not, whatever Carrick is instructing him to do that he executes this well, he’s not going to be a fullback next season😂😂😂
Bruno assisted from a corner? But how did United get that corner?
Oh yeah, Bruno smacked a random 60 yard pass right to Mbeumo in space. Literally no one else plays that pass 🤣
Tuchel picking some of these over Maguire is nuts:
John Stones: Started five league games since 2025
Chalobah: Currently in 8th, mid level season.
Dan Burn: Currently in 11th, mid level season.
Colwill: Quality but missed the whole season through an ACL
Maguire has arguably been playing better than Konsa/ Guehi the last three months.
Konsa, Guehi, Colwill & Maguire would be my four picks.
Criminal if Tuchel picks one of Stones, Chalobah or Burn over Maguire.
Form wise, ability wise and experience wise Maguire deserves to be there and is good enough to be starting.
Maguire's experience, leadership, ability from set pieces cannot be matched by anyone else.
No Maguire. Madness. His experience, threat from set pieces, leadership, quality on the ball, impact in both boxes all good enough to be there. Big miss given his form under Carrick.
