Thoughts on Gruden’s QB Camp with Will Howard:
- If you can get past the corny intros with the Chevy Silverado promotion, it’s got the same Gruden QB magic as always in the film room.
- Will Howard will be a coach’s favorite.
- Very sharp football IQ. Great understanding of concepts. Loves the game and it shows.
- Gruden tried to pull a Josh Allen comp with the height and weight, but he’s much more of a Daniel Jones / Mason Rudolph type prospect.
- Great pocket presence, size, and mobility, but gets a little too robotic and pushes the ball with not as fluid as an arm as you’d like to see.
- Would be a great addition to a QB room as a backup, but not somebody you should be building around as a franchise QB.
I’ve got a round 3 grade on him and think he’d be best fit as a backup in Houston, Cinci, Denver, KC, LA, Washington, Detroit, or Tampa.
Trevor Etienne with two 4.43’s. He’s continuing to check the boxes for me as a RB who will have a role next year, and it’s because of more than his last name. What do you think @DonnettaEtienne ?
Absolutely loving his combine performance. And nfl network’s @StaceyDales with the skate boarding fun facts. Now we know why he has such good contact balance
Brashard Smith will be one of my highest owned RB’s in @Undedog__NFL drafts next year. Last year my highest owned RB was Tyrone Tracy. I love the WR’s who convert to RB
More and more coming out that the #Titans are going Carter at 1. I still wouldn't be shocked if it was hunter but I think passing on QB or trading down makes sense for them.
