@FieldYates - this you? Love the Dak-CeeDee, Darnold-JSN stacks. Also think handcuffing Bucky and White is and underrated strategy to increase odds of getting out of round 1.
People fading Emeka Egbuka in Dynasty because he’s behind Mike Evans and Godwin reminds me of when JSN dropped because of DK and Tyler Lockett.
Fast forward 2 quick years to 2027 and Mike Evans will be nearly 34 years old and Godwin will be 31.
Emeka will be just fine.
Thoughts on Gruden’s QB Camp with Will Howard:
- If you can get past the corny intros with the Chevy Silverado promotion, it’s got the same Gruden QB magic as always in the film room.
- Will Howard will be a coach’s favorite.
- Very sharp football IQ. Great understanding of concepts. Loves the game and it shows.
- Gruden tried to pull a Josh Allen comp with the height and weight, but he’s much more of a Daniel Jones / Mason Rudolph type prospect.
- Great pocket presence, size, and mobility, but gets a little too robotic and pushes the ball with not as fluid as an arm as you’d like to see.
- Would be a great addition to a QB room as a backup, but not somebody you should be building around as a franchise QB.
I’ve got a round 3 grade on him and think he’d be best fit as a backup in Houston, Cinci, Denver, KC, LA, Washington, Detroit, or Tampa.
I don’t care what the 40 yard dash was, Xavier Restrepo is one of the best pure slot receivers I’ve ever seen. If the landing spot is good, look out folks.
Biggest winner in fantasy of the Chase and Higgins extensions is definitely Joe Burrow. If they can piece together an o-line, there are going to be some high scoring games in Cincinnati
A lot of Aaron Rodgers to the Vikings rumors. Then you assume Te Adams will follow. Next think you know you have a madden team of Rodgers, Jefferson, Addison, & Adams
