8th grade "Blind Contour Watercolors". Students focused on observing and drawing each object without looking at the paper. Using watercolor, they painted their images on a single sheet of paper to create an abstract representation. @LindsayGooditis@NicholasADiaz@ArtEducatorsNJ
“Loopy Lines” 4th grade discussed string art and how it can create unique designs and texture. Students create a continuous line with glue and yarn, then add lines of shape and color to complete their piece. @FTSHunterdon @MsGooditis @timkoteaches@NicholasADiaz@ArtEducatorsNJ
In recognition of Black History Month, 5th grade observed and recreated a still life painting by Harlem Renaissance artist William H. Johnson. Each student traced and painted individual sections to recreate the entire piece as a whole. @FTSHunterdon @MsGooditis @NicholasADiaz
1/ Today is dedicated to a man who, with a deep compassion and oratory gift, taught us to embrace humanity and stand up for equality everywhere. To honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy, we must progress his work to protect voting rights and equal opportunity for everyone.
