On this day four years ago, Frank Schwindel made his Cubs debut. He pinch hit in the fifth inning of a 4-3 loss in Washington.

He would make his first start four days later and take off. From 8/3/21 to the end of the year he went .344/.391/.615 with 13 HR and 40 RBI.
