@VideosAICant I've seen this loads of times and only just realised the air cat makes a secondary leap off the sofa. I thought that mf got too much air 🤔
I have control over these little beautiful things. I choose to drown them in beer and nicotine and stress them out by reading 5 books a month all called You’re Fucked: Powerless and Alone in the 21st century. Once every few weeks I’ll be in a good mood. A kind of false respite
spend one single day not looking at a screen. i know this is easier said than done but just for one day do literally anything else. read a physical book. go for a walk in the park. do jumping jacks in your room. stare at the wall. listen to an album from your teenage years
there is a reason you are distracting yourself and if you stop for a day you will find out what it is. for this encounter you must cultivate courage. there is an ocean to cross, there is a dragon to face. we tell stories about heroes for a reason and as silly as it sounds, for you right now, this is that reason. the forces arrayed against you are mighty but help is available should you seek it. good luck and may god be with you
@mattfle02898557@ZackPolanski We started standardised daily technological temp recording in 1910, so 116 years ago, and accurate records have been kept in england since 1770, but who needs research eh
There will be an attempt to recharacterise Starmer as a "decent
man" who was just not cut out for politics. This has already been tried by that tedious old establishment hack Andrew Marr in the abysmal New Statesman. No one will be fooled by this. Starmer is a man powered by a ruthless but empty careerism. He desperately wanted to get to the top but was afflicted by having the character traits of a middle manager who was only going to be a middle manager. His career as a prosecutor was defined by delivering cover ups (Saville) and stitch ups (Asaange) at the behest of the men above him in the chain of command. When he was (nominally at least) in the top job he proved incapable to an extreme degree. Most of his own former staff describe him as a void who evaded conflict as well as being pathologically lazy. He couldn't even chair committee meetings properly. This is a man who is a pure creation of the British state machine. A rubber stamp in human form. A pathetic, order taking, servile grovelling sack of suet who is the epitome of the man who wasn't there.
Starmer's been to the government's weather-controlling room and put a brick on the pedal for the sun. his parting gift is to incinerate the population that disrespected him so. I believe he does have that right
🚨 🇬🇧 KEIR STARMER SET TO RESIGN, FINALLY
Let’s recap his two years of selling out:
• Won the largest Labour majority in a generation. A historic mandate. The country in his hands.
• Appointed Peter Mandelson, Epstein’s man in Britain, as his first major hire.
• Cracked down on Palestinian protests and civil liberties.
• Backed every war. Backed genocide.
• Raised taxes.
• Historic unemployment.
• Did absolutely nothing about the cost of living except make it worse.
• Caved like a corrupt coward on abolishing leasehold.
• Rolled out digital ID, forced ID for all new accounts.
• Banned social media for young people and increased “antisemitism” education in schools
The result?
• Lost nearly 1,500 council seats in a single local election.
• Net approval rating of minus 66.
• The most unpopular Prime Minister since records began.
And here’s what should terrify the Labour establishment:
• Only 5% of Labour voters who left went to Reform.
• 32% went to the Greens and Lib Dems.
They didn’t lose to the right. They lost to the left they abandoned.
Keir Starmer was never there to represent you. He was there to neutralise the left and hand the establishment two terms of safe, managed decline.
Mission accomplished. Sort of lol.
@PresconPanties@Alex_Fedderly@FranklinH3000 Take the L dude. Your argument is nonsense, why, for e.g. would Anakin have to remove the robes when he and Padme are disguised as commoners in AOTC? Because they're distinctly jedi/desert gear. Commoner clothing varies hugely across planets.
Vacation brain is awesome. All I did was eat and drink and walk around and not deny myself anything so my brain is like “wow great town. I should move here. It would probably be like this every day”
the roko's basilisk guys are so funny bc they correctly intuit that our lives will be controlled by a psychotic, amoral algorithm that hates humanity but they think some nerd in SF is going to build it on his macbook. it was already built, in 1602, by the Dutch
Undiagnosed or unmedicated/unmanaged ADHD is saying "Tomorrow will be the day I'll finally get up, do the stuff that needs to be done, and start living my life to its fullest" and you unironically believe it every time until you look up one day and realise you're 30
dude cmon, take a picture of your ID. it's not a big deal just upload your ID to the computer. bro don't be weird, just take your social security card and tape it to your forehead. what are you, a pedophile? mail a notarized copy of your birth certificate to chipotle headquarters
