This in the middle is Saudulla Ahmed Hassan, former SG of Guesthouse Association of Maldives.

Exactly 6 years ago, in June 2020, he sexually harassed and groped a female administration staff member at GAM.

The victim broke down to an executive committee member, saying the repeated incidents of unwanted touching and groping made it impossible for her to return to the office. Staff described a pattern of predatory behaviour, groping her sensitive areas, cornering her in the workplace and creating a climate of fear and disgust. When the matter reached the Executive Committee, two members tried to brush it off as a personal matter that should be left alone.

Then GAM President Moosa Naasih issued a formal dismissal letter on 5 July 2020 citing the internal investigation into the misconduct. But Naasih himself resigned shortly after, publicly stating the case was not being investigated thoroughly and he could no longer lend his name to what he saw as a cover up.
