Hello everyone, please feel free to take a look at my infographic that discusses connectivism and how it relates to my learning style and how I think it impacts society!
@JennaLazarou Social media has become such an integral part of our lives, especially as we become more connected to our phones at all times. Social media has given us the opportunity to be more knowledgeable about the world around us and to interact with it in a better way. #EM203Robin
@EM203gpusitz I also enjoyed reading about the different learning styles. I find many classes only make use of one at any given time, something which doesn't work for everyone. I think courses should incorporate many different learning techniques to benefit everyone in the class. #EM203Robin
@EM203deanna Technology and learning are almost inseparable at this point in time. When was the last time you were in a classroom without a laptop or without staring at slides or a smart board? The answer is probably several years, which says a lot about where society is today. #EM203Robin
@Em203Q Technology has allowed for learning to take place any time and any place. You can learn a new language with an app and there are YouTube tutorials for just about any skill you want to learn. The Internet has redefined who can be an expert and what it means to be "self-taught"
@EM203KStrauss This is so true! As a Communications studies major I find it odd that many of my classes discuss social media and technology but discourage its use in our learning. Personally I find it can be helpful in many ways and #EM203Robin has shown this in our lessons.
#EM203Robin Discovered my new found love of sudoku this week! Also, in the lesson on multi-media, I learned a lot about how technology can offer new and better ways to learn new information and skills. (which is exactly how I learned sudoku so fast)
