What is the use of bonus shares issue by RIL these days? In my opinion it has a negative utility for those long term shareholders who want to sell in next 12 months.

Bonus shares don’t create any valuation premium and in fact will create more short term capital gains if you sell shares as income tax will recognise new shares holding period from date they come into demat account.

So if I sell RIL shares tomorrow I will get long term capital gains benefit if my shares were purchased more than 12 months ago. If I sell the same RIL shares after receiving bonus shares I will be taxed more as half of my shares will be new shares with less than 12 months holding!

Note : No stock market suggestion. Sharing tax treatment or bonus shares as per my understanding of income tax law

ये बच्ची जिसकी उम्र महज 3-4 वर्ष है, कल देर रात्रि 10:30 बजे इटावा से फफूँद जाने वाली मेमू ट्रेन में सोते हुए मिली। पुलिस चौकी जीआरपी फफूँद पर नियुक्त SI इम्तियाज अहमद बच्ची को चौकी पर ले आए।
बच्ची भूखी थी, पहले उसे खाना खिलवाया। अपना नाम पूछने पर सिया बता रही है। पापा/मौसा का नाम राकेश, माँ/मौसी का नाम पूजा बताया है। इससे अधिक कुछ नहीं बता पा रही। ये फोटो अधूरी जानकारी के साथ Whatsapp पर मिला था, तब मैंने अभी दरोगा जी से बात की तो बताया कि अभी बच्ची के परिजनों का कुछ पता नहीं चला है। आगे की प्रक्रिया प्रचलित है। GRP की तरफ से भी परिजनों को खोजने हेतु प्रयास जारी हैं।

Four days ago, a tragic accident occurred when a speeding car driven by drunk young men hit my sister and two other women on their way to the temple in Toliyasar , dungargarh , bikaner at 4 AM. Two lives were lost, including my sister.

What is deeply concerning is that the people responsible fled the scene and evaded justice. Even more alarming, they showed up at the hospital for treatment but fled when they saw the police. There are also rumors suggesting possible police involvement in their escape.

The fact that the car had a "Rajasthan Sarkar" logo raises further concerns. It's distressing that justice was delayed due to the slow response from the police. They didn't take action until we, the victims' families, blocked the National Highway near the police station for almost two hours to demand attention.

Despite the family providing crucial information about the suspects' whereabouts, the police were careless and late to respond, which allowed three of the suspects to escape, with only one being caught.

The lack of prompt action from the authorities in such a serious matter is deeply disappointing and needs to be addressed urgently.
