Congratulations to 2026 Nick Fumich (@FumichNick) on his commitment to Gardner-Webb (@GWUBaseball)!
Nick is a high-level athlete with significant upside and the potential to make an immediate impact at the next level. He has experience at multiple positions, but primarily plays 3B and the OF, where his range stands out, highlighted by a 6.5 60-yard dash.
In addition to his defensive ability, Nick shows strong power potential with a 98 mph exit velocity and plenty of room to continue adding strength to his 6’3” frame.
Nick is another player we’ve worked with who expanded his opportunities and built new connections after electing to take a post-grad year following an impressive high school career. We’re excited to continue following his success this spring and at Gardner-Webb next season.

James is a physical player with clear offensive upside. Primarily a 1B who can also handle OF, he moves well (sub-7.0 60) and has produced triple-digit exit velocities this spring. Impressive bat who will only continue to improve!
James came to us looking for help opening more doors in recruiting after choosing a post-grad year, and very happy to have been able to help him find the next step of his career. Excited to continue following his success the rest of this spring at Gardner-Webb next season!
