@chrisbosh In an effort to not decide the outcome, the refs will swallow their whistles. And thereby decide the outcome. For OKC. If they actually call the fouls that will be committed on Wemby, Spurs will win.
@sexton_is_GREAT When it's close on the field but not off the field, you go with the ayer with fewer off-field issues. Should have taken Reese.
But Jets gonna Jet.
@AndrewSacks13 Oakes here...I seem to have a bad phone number for you...please send a private message so I can get back in touch more personally. You should know i always think of you around the Bard's b-day!
@JackMcPher95405@nut_history That's a very significant offensive edge for Williams. Mays's defense and baserunnung may make up for it or slightly more, but it's not at all clear that it does.
@AJWTheology "On a morning from a Bogart movie, in a country where they turn back time, you go strolling through the crowd like Peter Lorre contemplating a crime."
@Patton6606Chuck@JShalooby@nut_history It's not a matter of performance credit. Mays had the better career due to more playing time, but they're effectively equal on a rate basis. You're not getting a (much if at all) better player with Mays; you're getting one who was avoht as good and played more.
@JVMonte2 Iron Maiden through Powerslave
CCR Green River through Cosmo's Factory
Styx Grand Illusion to Paradise Theater
Metallica Kill 'em All through Puppets.
Any run in the Doors through Morrison Hotel
@CV67Catapult@Jimfrombaseball Definitely not going to take the other side of "He was a jerk!" Lol I'm just saying that the man could play (unlike Durocher, who was also a jerk!)
Not sure about the bad for baseball...he generated a lot of interest/excitement in the 70s.
