@wtflanksteak Stop trying to deflect. No one has established anything. Using basic common sense has nothing to do with "sophisticated media literacy". Anyone who honestly thought she was a tradwife or pushing tradwife propaganda while she cooks and bakes in fancy dresses is just plain dumb.
@odelllrry Something more concerning is "who is dumb enough to BUY what she is supposedly selling?) People no longer have their personal ideals? Is society easily swayed by a trending influencer? They can't think to themselves "I can enjoy this content without being influenced"?
Nara Smith speaks out after being labeled the face of the "trad wife" movement. 😳
She says she's not a traditional wife, she's a full-time working mom who shares parenting 50/50 with her husband, they both provide for their family, and reveals that he does most of the cleaning while she cooks because she genuinely enjoys it.
Nara says the internet built an identity around her based on short cooking videos that doesn't reflect her real life, arguing that women shouldn't be forced into narrow boxes just because they embrace femininity.
"Why can't we do it all? Why can't women choose their own roles instead of being forced into very specific, very narrow boxes just to make sense of them?" ❤️
@wyd_loner This woman never came out to say she was a "Trad wife". 🙄 Her audience and critics labeled her as such. Even if she had a so-called "Trad wife" propaganda, how dumb can you be to succumb to that and not be steadfast in your ideals?
A family husky's protective instincts kicked in when a bear came running across their driveway, charging straight at a child nearby.
“You’re always wondering in the back of your head, ‘What’s gonna happen if she needs to protect us?’ And now we know,” Jeffrey Tazzara said.
@theanswrisno Everything isn't meant to be a flex. 🫤 Inasmuch as it's beneficial to be up to date with current news, people are overwhelmed and have their personal stuff to deal with.
i learned ants really have no concept of us as humans because of their limited eyesight and how big we are to them. they see us as moving shadows, or wind, or like obstacles and landscape (i imagine mountains). makes me wonder what’s in front of me right now that’s too large for me to comprehend.
