A fab session in @AneurinBevanUHB, the Royal Gwent for local students. The Q+A panels consisted of groups of @cardiffuni Medical schools, F1’s, Registrars and Consultants.
30+ students had the opportunity to ask questions and listen to routes into medicine.

Mental health and well being must be incorporated into education. The pressures are great and coping strategies must be taught from an early age. Failure in exams does not determine failure in life, but the intensity and insular nature of academia can discount this.
