My former colleague here in the Uk 🇬🇧 who was white (Oyinbo) told me she dated a Nigerian guy some years back that he was very sweet and caring. She said he always ask him if he was married, but the guy will always deny it. She said the guy was his junior then at work but through her influence he was sponsored (Skilled worker visa). She said that she usually gave this guy money because he’s very nice and even helped him completed his tuition fees in the UK 🇬🇧.

So there was a time he said this guy went to Nigeria and she noticed the way he calls her reduced. A day to when the guy was going to leave Nigeria , this white lady called and it was his wife in Nigeria that picked it. The wife said , “Hello, this is Thompson’s wife on the call”. She said that she played along that how are you are and the kids and your husband? That she said she’s from her husband’s office in the UK.

Later in the day, Thompson got to know that the white lady had known every thing about his wife and family. He called her and was trying to explain but the lady said it’s over between them.

This guy came back to UK 🇬🇧 on Sunday night and was supposed to resume on a Monday morning but learnt that this white lady was on Annual Leave so he called the office on Monday morning that he was sick whereas he went to meet this lady. He spent the whole day begging this white lady but the lady said she told him it was over.

The white lady took one week annual leave and do you know this Nigerian guy lied to the company that he was sick for one week just to begging the lady for one week.

The white lady told me that when she resumed she was told the guy called that he was sick for one week , the white lady reported to authorities that he wasn’t sick that he was with her throughout the one week and showed them evidence of it. The company investigated the case, firstly they suspended him then later sack him after few months for deception and investigation. His visa was also cancelled by the company.

The white lady now ask me that why are Nigerian guys not faithful and lies too much?
I told her that we’re not like that but she just met an unfortunate human being.
She said she was ready to marry him even if he has a wife in Nigeria but he must promise not to bring them that he always tells him this.

When you Japa always say the truth in every situation, Oyinbos don’t like deception.
