Unironically, the Omega Zero fight in Mega Man Zero 3.

It's such an underwhelmingly easy boss after all the buildup to it. I'd prefer it way more if the final boss in that game only had two phases in exchange for a better Omega Zero fight.

@SaltSudoku Play Mega Man ZX if you want a good example of actual useless area bloat. I'd say Metroid, HK, Castlevania, etc generally don't have much of an issue with this because these rooms only become boring as your character gets stronger in the lategame
