One of the more boring commemorative coins we've had - commemorating the abdication of Queen Margrethe II and ascension of King Frederik X.

The minting quality itself also hasn't been great since the Finnish Mint took over the production of Danish coins.

After being upset with our queen for fleeing she soon became a symbol of resistance when she started talking to us via the BBC but also because the Nazis tried so hard to make her look bad.
It made us like her more.
