A returnee would require access to making an income that can sustain the regular cash flow at atleast 2kGBP/month without too many people farming on them...

Living fully in naija is hard for a returnee without any source of income that can provide the level of life you were living in the UK, plus the "home taxing" too.

Married a woman in naija, raised a family..
Kept setting up businesses that weren't sustainable because those back at home always saw him as a meal ticket.
Each time he tries to stay in naija for a full stretch year....

We really don't fully belong in both places.

We become familiar strangers. Stripped off an identity
The UK never fully "accepts' us..
Nigeria or Uganda sees us as the ones you escaped.

Oue roots get diluted, and sometimes we get lost too.
