It wasn't a definitive top ten and cars certainly weren't ranked in any particular order ๐ . In at number, er, eleven, is @workshop_77's Tango-tastic ST build, signed off by Jรผrgen Barth. A fantastic project featured in the Dec issue of Classic Porsche: https://t.co/nb0kvSYDlN ๐งก
RLR 962-200 featured in the March 2021 issue of 911 & Porsche World. And with that, I'm off to grab a beer. G'night! ๐๐ป

Tiff Needell, Derek Bell and James Weaver drove the car at Le Mans in 1989. Once owned by Pink Floyd's Nick Mason, it now forms part of the privately owned Historic Porsche collection, billed as the most important assembly of Porsche race cars anywhere outside Zuffenhausen. ๐
Along with Joest, RLR was one of the first customer teams to receive the then updated, fully water-cooled, turbocharged, three-litre 935/83 engine managed by a Bosch Motronic MP1.7 ECU. Current specification includes an Xtec-built powerplant and a MoTeC electronic brain. ๐
Ready to return to racing after an extensive two-year restoration at 956/962 specialist, Katana, RLR 962-200 is one of the most historically significant Group C prototypes to ever carry the Porsche crest. ๐
The final entry in my list of top ten 911 & Porsche World and Classic Porsche feature cars from 2021. Number ten of ten. Perhaps *ten out of ten* is more appropriate?! RLR 962-200, as featured in the March issue of 911PW. Order a back issue of the mag: https://t.co/0s9G02Fcur ๐
I fell in love with this restored #Porsche911 S the moment I saw it. The car's owner, Quick Vic Cohen, bought the blue beauty as a rolling shell and boxes of accompanying parts in 2012, partnering with Steve Winter at JAZ to restore the 2.2-litre gem with choice modifications.
Picking my top ten 911 & Porsche World and Classic Porsche feature cars from 2021 has proved way trickier than I imagined. So many awesome cars. Even so, this restored 911 S ranks high. It featured in the December issue of Classic Porsche. Order a copy: https://t.co/nb0kvSYDlN ๐
Eye, eye! A day into the new year. Looks like we made it! Wishing every one of you a happy and healthy 2022. Hereโs to a bumper year of project progress ๐ฅ๐บ
I asked @ABcollages to shoot the car for me back when it was finished in green and white (the winning entry from an @oxford_brookes graphic design competition coinciding with Porsche's seventieth anniversary, iirc?). It was impressive then, but off-the-scale awe-inspiring now. ๐
I've followed the project for years, reporting on developments as they occurred. Needless to say, I was thrilled to feature the car on the cover of Classic Porsche. What a machine! ๐

The coming together of technicians @PorscheGB's network of Classic Partner Centres saw this early 911 wow fans of historic motorsport before the car underwent further transformation in 2020. Cover story for the May issue of Classic Porsche. Order a copy at https://t.co/UJet31710d
Today, the not-so-mellow yellow left-hooker benefits from recent restoration and a raft of performance upgrades, making it one of the most enjoyable Porsches I was lucky enough to be in charge of in 2021. Read about it in Feb's issue of 911 & Porsche World https://t.co/OWFGlmtuue
The 968 Club Sport focuses on fundamentals to deliver one of the best drives in Porsche history. It was a dream come true to play with this Speed Yellow example, chiefly because it served as one of Zuffenhausen's factory fleet cars, staying with Porsche for three years. ๐๐
This tweaked modern classic featured on the cover of the May issue of 911 & Porsche World and is loaded with Lindsey Racing goodies. Check it out by ordering a back issue copy of the magazine at https://t.co/hapefuJt9p๐ #porsche#944turbo
It's not the most valuable Porsche, it's not a perfectly presented Porsche, but it's a Porsche delivering plenty of smiles to the mile. At the end of the day, that's what it's all about and why the UK's oldest 944 Turbo makes it into my top ten favourite feature cars from 2021 ๐
