They are not “war criminals” simply because they are Israeli or Jewish. Many Jews were expelled from or forced to leave Arab and Muslim countries, and the Jewish people have a deep historical connection to the Land of Israel—a connection that is even acknowledged in the Quran.

And let me make one thing clear: Israel is not made up only of Jews. Israeli society includes Jews, Christians, Muslims, Druze, and others, and people from different religious backgrounds serve in the IDF.

If you want to criticize a government or military, criticize specific actions and back your claims with evidence. But labeling Jews or Israelis as “war criminals” simply because of who they are is not legitimate criticism.
