20-year old Norwegian RW/RB Daniel Bassi had a very strong performance off the bench in Prague today vs. Slavia. Threatened the defence whenever he ran with the ball, drew a penalty, and started the comeback for Glimt with a goal. (1/2)

(2/2) His battle against 21-year old Senegalese LB Youssoupha Mbodji was excellent to watch on both sides, with Mbodji looking to be a promising prospect in his own right - Slavia's best defender on the night, no coincidence the first Glimt goal came 1' after his substitution.

Pape Matar Sarr with another strong performance and goal coming off an international break where he scored a crucial match winner for Senegal. Expect him to have a breakout season this year under Thomas Frank, who has clearly taken a liking to the 22 year old midfielder.

... yet again impede the manager's ability to succeed at the club. Ange Postecoglou goes from trying to work under Levy, to Mr. Marinakis. Perhaps he just likes an extra challenge. It will be interesting to see how Forest tactically evolve under Ange this season! (End of Thread)

Thread on Nottingham Forest sacking Nuno: the only sense that can be made is that Mr. Marinakis didn't like that Nuno had taken somewhat of a small stand against him in press conferences, and wanted to show he was boss. This squad fit Nuno tactically like a glove. (1)
