China just dropped Kimi K2.6,

GPT 5.4 level coding,

8x CHEAPER than opus4.7,

and 100% OPEN SOURCE.

What makes it interesting is the level of finish:

– The design doesn’t feel generic. It aims for a more “designer-level” aesthetic
– It’s not just static pages — there’s built-in functionality like database and authentication
– It can even pull in image and video generation to create better visuals and sections

So instead of stitching together tools, a lot of it happens in one place.
And it’s clearly built for practical use cases:

– Landing pages
– Portfolios
– Interactive tools
– Small but polished web apps

Then there’s the agent side.

You can run up to 100 AI agents in parallel for research or execution-heavy tasks.

Which basically means less back-and-forth and more actual output.

There’s also a coding agent (open-source, similar direction to tools like Claude Code), and a one-click cloud deployment setup.

Plus something underrated — turning documents into reusable “skills.”

That part alone can save a lot of repetitive work.

Overall, this feels less like another AI feature drop…
and more like a shift toward building complete workflows.

Still early, but worth paying attention to.
