Together with the First Lady @ZelenskaUA and the diplomatic team, landed in New York for the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

Around 20 meetings are planned, including with the U.S. President, European leaders, U.S. senators and members of the House of Representatives, heads of international organizations, leading American companies, and think tanks. A new Drone Deal is also ready to be signed. Of course, Ukraine’s number one priority is bringing peace closer and protecting the lives of our people. There are concrete security proposals and de-escalation measures that could bring the end of the war closer. We are working to strengthen air defense and ensure sufficient financing for Ukraine. Just like last year, we will hold the International Crimea Platform Summit in New York. There will be broad high-level representation from various countries, and we appreciate the involvement of all our partners and their support for our territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Olena will address students and faculty at Columbia University and present the outcomes of the Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen at the United Nations. The First Lady also has a series of meetings scheduled with American businesses and philanthropists in support of the Olena Zelenska Foundation’s projects, as well as a number of bilateral meetings, including with the wife of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and the President of the World Bank.

When the city was liberated, 22-year-old “Barni” made a choice: she would not just watch the war from the sidelines.
In February 2023, she volunteered for Ukraine’s Armed Forces🇺🇦

She wanted to fight.

This brave woman became a Ukrainian Marine, then an FPV drone operator and crew commander with the 38th Separate Marine Brigade.

She fought on the frontline, including around Myrnohrad.

Later In 2026, this determined servicewoman received the Order “For Courage,” 3rd Class.
