DFB is a mess, it’s absolutely crazy.

Mohya was barely promoted or integrated by the DFB from U15 through U18, despite his well-known talent from an early age. He was born on December 31, making him one of the youngest players in his age group physically throughout those years, and like many others, that was a reason he wasn’t prioritized by the DFB.
And guess who that coach was once again.

The DFB and Hannes Wolff can keep talking about the Relative Age Effect, but if they still fail to support highly talented late-born players like Wael because they don’t deliver immediate results, you’re ultimately just exposing your own shortcomings.

Germany doesn’t have a talent problem; it has an organizational and cultural problem that leads to a high number of top talents choosing other countries out of frustration and a lack of connection.

We develop plenty of great talents in this country, but the DFB has mastered the art of sabotaging its own success.
