@lawmaster They stated they were putting the initial $5M in the announcement of the fund, from day one. @TheBlock__ research and coverage on Kik has been biased. Your hmmming is spilling into your articles as well. At least confirm suspicions and cover fairly.

@stmdc@DanielCKin@stephendpalley They are no longer converting virtual currencies for or sending them between parties, it was specifically for the token offering (exchanging participants' ETH for Kin). If any apps offer those services they still have to abide by money transmission laws.
@DanielCKin@stmdc@stephendpalley Correct, Kin Digital Services was a registered MSB for the Token Distribution Event via FinCEN. They followed the 2013 guidance for money transmission laws.
I just published "Introduction to Kin: Universal Virtual Currency for Apps -- A New Revenue Model for App Developers Similar to 'Bitcoin Mining', but Based on User Engagement".

@brucefenton If even two different people like you and @AOC can agree on something like this, there should be absolutely no question that it is the way forward. Bipartisan effort when?
@RobMcNealy@CamiRusso@Bitfinexed@SEC_News Stages of grief
"You see, when the chairman of the sec said he agreed with the analysis used to imply that ether was no lonfer a security he didn't re-specify that he agreed that ether specifically is something he agreed with the analysis adhering to!"

The Chair of the SEC said he agreed with Commissioner Hinneman who said that as he understands it ETH is not a security.
ETH is not a security.
Never was. This was already very clear.
ETH is unworkable as a security and won’t be declared to be one.
presented without comment.
appreciate your leadership, @jespow. especially on the thorny issues that most leaders in the industry avoid. bitlicense / NYDFS, NY AG, the list goes on and on.
@udiWertheimer Hey Udi,
Are you still waiting for coinbase to respond / explain themselves or is the hiring of that team and acquisition of neutrino all you need to know? Or is it those hirees' position on Snowden? Just kind of confused on what the facts are behind #deletecoinbase
Hey @ChrisBrummerDr , question for you sir. Let's say Candy Crush decided to put Candy Crush Gems on the blockchain to limit supply, and people began trading them. Who would regulate this? CFTC? FinCEN? Both? Would the offering be a security? 🤔
was taking a casual link-clicking stroll through @Wikipedia and found this brilliant quote from @fredwilson
