@GuyTalksFinance@GrantCardone Never sell your btc is an easy to understand marketing slogan
Strategy’s updated guidance states that increasing Btc per share is the priority and sometimes selling btc achieves this. He literally told us this. Why is this hard for someone named “Finance Guy” to understand?
@dampedspring It sounds like you dont dislike the stock you just think there is a better way to get the exposure?
Ive heard Saylor market $MSTR as lev bitcoin. Wouldnt it be reasonable to say that $MSTR is attractive for someone that wants lev BTC exposure without navigating the options mkt?
@dampedspring Maybe in the short term but, I’d argue, only because the market doesn’t understand BTC and related KPI’s.
If BTC compounds at 20-30% and mNAV stays >1, the $STRC liabilities issued today start to become trivial down the road. Shouldn’t $MSTR common benefit if this plays out?
@dampedspring I believe that bitcoin will appreciate at rate faster than what $MSTR ‘s Preffs payout and therefore am fine investing at a 1.2mNAV.
As long as mNAV > 1, why should $MSTR sell the asset instead of equity to pay dividends?
@Budgetdog_@fiatarchive $STRC shows this is possible. Still needs to build its track record before I’d invest a significant amount of capital to it, but it’s off to a strong start.
@BitcoinMagazine MSCI decides not to exclude $MSTR from its indexes but did place a limit cap on weightings. I wonder if strategy was aware of this ruling and why they have been hammering the ATM on their common stock over the last few weeks.
Isn’t it kind of crazy that people will say Bitcoin is highly over valued but continue to allocate to an Index where the top stock has a $4 Trillion mkt cap and a 53x PE ratio?
@OliverJones_19 @lindsaystamp3 If you go down the Bitcoin rabbit hole first, you learn why our current monetary system is broken. This will naturally incentivize you to fix your expenses and allocate capital more effectively.
By ignoring Bitcoin, you’re more likely to get stuck in the rat race.
@RealJimChanos If I own a house, my house doesn’t generate additional house over time. If I own MSTR, it DOES generate additional BTC over time. You’re missing the point that MSTR is an operating company and therefore shouldn’t be values at its NAV as it stands today.
@lindsaystamp3 Have you thought about requesting tips directly to your Bitcoin wallet instead of through the Uber app? You may prompt more tips from BTC users and at a minimum, spread the word about BTC.
NEW EPISODE ‼️ - #Bitcoin Daily
As of last week, 563 professional firms hold $3.5 Billion worth of Bitcoin ETFs, signalling the more you do your homework the more you move towards the world’s best asset. 🚀
Also, Bitcoin is being defended from the halls of power at both the Federal and State level as landmark legislation was passed that defends peoples right to own and custody Bitcoin.
So why are states, institutions, and the US Senate all defending Bitcoin? 🏛️⁉️
Could it be because they all recognize the recession is here? 📉
Perhaps it just looks different than ones we’ve seen in the past?
@EricBalchunas Is the 0.2% represent institutions that have reported so far or is that the total # of institutions that have to report?
I’m trying to understand if the bottom of the iceberg is other institutions waiting to report vs entities that don’t have to report.
