Trade Recap : London session 16-10

Got stopped out 2 times before this trade, but after failing to go to the highs I was convinced that prijs wanted to keep going lower.

That's why I was still confident in the setup and still took the trade, after some long choppy PA $MNQ went to TP and I was done for the day.

Since I already lost profits of the Asia session trade, I was happy with the results and closed my laptop.

End of the Day was up +$1959 and ended the Week with +$3.136,66 in profits on the funded.
Onto next week

@AndrewTradesNQ Let them talk right, they probably ain’t even making any money trading. 😂

[Damian @FutureDiimma]

Trading NQ next to a 9-5. My sessions, Dutch time: 09:00-10:30, 15:30-17:00 and 19:30-21:00.

[Damian @FutureDiimma]

I think a mix of both like my strategy works the evals I passed, was because I was following the plan. But most of the time when I don’t follow it because of a loss or revenge trades everything goes south.

I’m more the problem if I’m honest I know I shouldn’t do those things but, I still do them you know what I mean.

Did you have something similar in your 2nd year?

[Damian @FutureDiimma]

So I’m kind of stuck right now, like I’ve had 5 funded accounts.

But lost 4 already everytime when I’m close to getting a payout, I was thinking of taking a few steps back and backtesting my model more.

To also get some more confidence when I see my setup, would that be a good idea?

Leave the last funded alone for now and when I have some more data try with that one again.

[Damian @FutureDiimma]

@joseftrades Fair enough, I guess that’s a yes haha. I enjoy it too best choice I ever made, you really get to know who you really are.

Can I ask you for some advice brother?

[Damian @FutureDiimma]

@AndrewTradesNQ Concepts were the easy part for me. But following your own rules, and dealing with the psychological part is something that will take the most time I think.

[Damian @FutureDiimma]

@fredtrades I keep a list of ideas to backtest and never get through it. Did the 73% hold in every year of the 4, or did one year carry the rest?

[Damian @FutureDiimma]

My rules: TP and SL both at 1RR. 1 win and I'm done for the day. 1 win + 1 loss, also done.

[Damian @FutureDiimma]

@wannabechamp How many times does it take before the brain really believes it? Is it one win like that or a few in a row?

[Damian @FutureDiimma]

@timeframeking Which of those three do you test first? I'd guess leaving the SL alone, so the other two have something to compare against.

[Damian @FutureDiimma]

@DodgysDD The IFVG on the 30s to 5m is my entry. Do you wait for the liquidity sweep first, or can the IFVG form before it?

[Damian @FutureDiimma]

@MacroLeveraging Does the fear fully go away, or does it just get smaller once you trust your rules?

[Damian @FutureDiimma]

@iamJMinx Does that mean a sweep of a level on NQ is more reliable than the same level on a perp? Or is it just fewer orders sitting there?

[Damian @FutureDiimma]

“Take what you can, give nothing back.”

[Damian @FutureDiimma]

@yoshiretails What do you use?

[Damian @FutureDiimma]

My bias comes from the Daily, 4H and 1H FVGs. The IFVG on the 30s to 5m is only the trigger. If the higher timeframe doesn't agree I don't take it.

[Damian @FutureDiimma]

@yoshiretails And it only follows you up, never down
