We wanted to share this stunning image staged by some of the care-experienced young people supported by Renfrewshire’s Youth Services team, created during a photography project they ran over the summer.
“Creativity is a great way for young people to express themselves. For care-experienced young people, it can help them explore their thoughts and feelings, meet new people and have fun."
Duncan Wilson, who ran the programme, said: “It took a couple of takes as one of the young people insisted on getting her handstand right! It was a team effort, and shows the diverse membership, range of expression and strengths of individuals in the group.
This week is your last chance to see Everyday Heroes – an installation specially created for Paisley Halloween Festival, at @ArtDeptPaisley until Sunday, featuring artwork created @DRCentrePaisley, Gateway Service at Spinners Gate, @Rcarers and @KibbleCharity
