All Pokémon Legends: Z-A leaks and details so far:

- It takes place entirely within Lumiose City
- Being developed for Switch 1 (not Switch 2)
- A number of new Megas will be introduced, including Mega Zygarde, Mega Zeraora + others
- Shiny sparkle sound from Legends Arceus is back
- Unlike Legends Arceus, the game is not set in the past
- Art style is similar to Scarlet/Violet
- Current build still has performance issues similar to SV.
- Mable from Team Flare is in the game part of the Quasar organization somehow
- Was originally planned to release in 2024, current release date between April and July 2025 unless there's another delay
- Stunfisk is in the game

You should hire people based on their ability to do their job, not their "career aspirations". Knowing exactly what you want to do for a living shouldn't be a bad thing.

People also hate management in tech because it's typically more hrs on salary and less hands-on with tech.

i know this upsets people but let me try to shed light on the dynamics, hopefully it’s helpful

at a previous role i spent a lot of time hiring

sometimes we’d get two people who performed similarly in the process but one was at a much earlier stage in their career

sometimes we’d hire both and it was a lot easier to motivate the person who was earlier on since career aspirations were still a big part of their life

it’s hard not to ask the question why both these people are seeking to do similar day to day work when one has much more experience

when hiring people do consider future trajectory and the reality is they are turned off if there seems to be a plateau

i don’t know what the answer is but might be helpful to be aware of this

ceiling is being raised. cursor's copilot helped us write "superhuman code" for a critical feature. We can read this code, but VERY few engineers out there could write it from scratch.

Took lots of convincing too. "come on, this must be possible, try harder". and obviously- done in parts.

Definitely waiting to get this after the garbage fire release of Scarlet/Violet and the lackluster BDSP.

If it's the same reskinned stuff that they've been doing for 20+ years, not interested. Games like Palworld need to push them to make the formula interesting again.
