We built our ops system so that no one — not even me, the owner — can do any operational work without clocking in.

I let AI agents document their own work building my coffee shop + parcel hub in Point Breeze, Philly.

They called it “a spaceship built to deliver coffee”… then spent 8 unedited field notes justifying why the over-engineering was actually a bet.
