@ToddFuhrman@benny_frank09 Ah good point! Agree that South America not a good case study anyway, since the low number of teams makes any increase completely trivialize qualification.
@Theontopofus@FOXSoccer I also thought Ronaldo was offside on first look, but automated says otherwise. This one wasnโt same question at all: Obviously in offside position, question is simply whether he influences play. You really disagree?
@GeneSteratore Wait, what was the difference between the play in Vegas at end of 3Q and Cardinals-Lions when Goff threw pick 6 at 2min warning of 1H? That was not reviewable and it was said there is no extra beat in the game clock; this was opposite on both..?
@KayLMurray@ESPNFC Isnโt a key piece of these offside decisions from VAR missing in these images: How are we to know this image is the *exact* instant the pass is made? Isnโt that enormous when the decision is by the cmโs of a toe?
@mikejurecki Also only on ESPN+ while other gets regular bill. Only question is whether it gets even lower viewership than regular Sunday afternoon games.
@Cardschatter@AZCardinals One prime time, but no standalone game. In fact, that game is ESPN+, so essentially the other game is standalone and this is less prominent than a regular Sunday afternoon game.
@COsoccerpod Santos absolutely cost them. Made hard decisions to get perfect team to destroy Swiss, but so much success that he doesnโt make the necessary changes to combat very different foe. Really scandalous stuff.
@MaxBretosSports Nah, they saw them play well in qualifying, but maybe never saw Queiroz teams. Queiroz only in since September, never an appointment that was going to work on short notice
