Dealing with @ourcomourkids (the new CPS) as a foster parent you quickly realize how poorly run the organization is. You’re frequently assigned a new case worker because the old one “moved on”. The new caseworker has been hired right out of college and rushed through training.

But they don’t want that. “Don’t get attached. We will be sending them back.” Then that one year old you were caring for that was moved because he was too attached is now a 7 year old still in care. Or the child you weened off drugs right out of the hospital and
