The pressure to even be consistently profitable within a year will burn you out.
You can be profitable, yes…
But the consistency will need more time. Don’t sweat it.
There’s a trader who started documenting his process on YouTube and Instagram in 2022. We were both struggling at the time.
He focused on creating content and building an audience. I focused on becoming a better trader.
Fast-forward to today: from the outside, very little has changed for him since 2023. Meanwhile, trading changed my entire life and the influence came naturally with the results.
This isn’t about mocking anyone. It’s simply a reminder that attention can make you forget what you originally set out to master.
Focus on the craft first. Let the results create the content.

Here’s a reason why August is considered a “not-so-good” month for traders:
A lot of major institutional players in the US & Europe are on summer holidays, which can mean thinner liquidity and lower participation.
That doesn’t automatically mean markets will fall.
It means price can move more violently on less volume, making fakeouts, sudden reversals, and unexpected volatility more likely.
So in August: protect your capital, be selective with entries, but that doesn’t mean don’t take trades.
Just don’t force them.
Be a trader that is obsessed with backtesting.
My results are a product of hard work not luck.
I remembered on a single night I backtested 3 years of data and immediately afterwards I fell sick.
Focus on learning the skills first, profits will come.
The problem is, most of y’all started forex with a hungry stomach. Couple months they call it scam because they’re not getting paid.
Get a job or a paying skill and then trade alongside.
