For all the book and naval nerds out there, the titanic was created in 1909, and was roughly 880’. Todays’ cruise ships are about, 5x bigger than this. In the book Lifeboat 12, it is stated the main ship, The City of Benares, was 3 miles long. This ship was built in 1940.

This means that The City of Benare was 30x BIGGER THAN TITANIC
